WHAT IS AN APPEAL IN COURT?

The fate of a case in Pakistan is not left in the hands of a single judge. If a decision is passed against you and you are not satisfied with the decision, you may file an appeal in a higher court. Many of the people wonder, what is an appeal in court? An appeal is to challenge the decision of the court to the higher court. Appeal against family court orders in Pakistan is available in a few orders. You may consult your lawyer if the orders by the court are appealable or not. If the law says that a particular order is not open to appeal, then you cannot appeal against such an order. You may file an appeal against the conviction of the accused. You may also file an appeal against acquittal in the court of Pakistan. APPEAL AGAINST FAMILY COURT ORDERS IN PAKISTAN:

You may appeal against family court orders in Pakistan, but not all family orders are appealable. For example, if the female takes khula in Pakistan, the defendant husband cannot file an appeal against the order or khula. In the same way, when the husband files the divorce in Pakistan so that he may be issued the NADRA divorce certificate, the female cannot challenge the issuance of the certificate.

INTRA COURT:

The intra-court appeal in Pakistan is the appeal in the same court but heard by more judges. For example, if the decision is made by a single high court judge, then the intra-court appeal in Pakistan can be filed in high court again, but this time the appeal will be heard by two or more judges. When an accused is acquitted from the court, the prosecution department or the complainant can file the appeal against acquittal in Pakistan.

FINAL COURT OF APPEAL:

The final court of appeal in Pakistan is the Supreme Court, but some orders cannot be taken beyond the high courts of the province.
