The government has started special courts for overseas Pakistani who have any kind of property disputes in Pakistan. This court is given the powers of the civil judge. - Who will be considered as overseas Pakistani: Any Pakistani who is abroad for work or business or for education and has a valid nicop or overseas card and has been abroad for 182 days in a year will be considered as overseas Pakistani and can file the overseas Pakistani property dispute in the courts of Pakistan. Prior to this service the government also allowed the services of online marriage in Pakistan.
- Powers of special judge overseas: The special judge overseas will have the complete power of the civil judge to resolve the property dispute. The judge will also have all the power to get his decision executed. The judge can also seek the assistance of any of the law enforcement agencies to get his orders executed.
- Electronic records of cases: The cases can be filed through the lawyer in Pakistan electronically or manually. All the records of the cases will be only so the overseas can see what exactly is going on in the courts.
